Terms & Conditions Maison Juste

When booking and staying at the hotel, your contract is concluded with Maison JUSTE. Please read our general terms and conditions carefully, as you will be bound by them. Booking a room implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions, which take precedence over any previous conditions or general terms of purchase.

Reservation

Anyone wishing to stay at the hotel must provide their identity and that of their companions. If you have booked a room in your name but wish someone else to access it, please inform us of the new guest's name and contact details as soon as possible.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in time is from 4 p.m. and check-out is by 12 p.m. If you wish to check out later, please contact the Maître de Maison to request a late departure, subject to availability and a possible surcharge.

Payment

Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card at the time of booking. The card used will be charged the total amount of the reservation (night + any additional products + tourist tax) before the arrival date. In case of payment rejection, the hotel may cancel the reservation. We accept Visa, Amex, and Mastercard. Payment is made in the hotel’s local currency (EUR) and may be subject to foreign exchange fees from your bank. We do not accept payment on site (no cash, cards, or checks). If you add products on-site, we will send you a secure payment link to settle the additional amount.

Arrival

Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an SMS and/or email with check-in instructions. Online check-in is mandatory to receive your access code/mobile key. You will be asked to provide your personal information and sign the mandatory registration form (as per French law). We may verify your ID during or after check-in. We may also request your credit card details again to cover any unpaid charges. On the day of your arrival, you will receive a mobile key via our web app and access codes. If you do not receive the key or it doesn’t work, please contact +33 6 23 63 19 77.

Modifications and Cancellations

You can modify or cancel your booking free of charge up to 3 days before your arrival (for flexible rate bookings, unless otherwise stated). Email us at maison@justejuste.com with your contact details and a team member will get back to you within 24 hours. For bookings made via Booking or Expedia, cancellations must be processed directly on their platform. After the deadline, no changes can be made. For cancellations made less than 3 days before arrival, the full amount will be charged. Non-refundable bookings are fully charged.

No-show

If you do not show up at the hotel on your check-in date, the full booking amount will be charged.

Rates

Our best rates are always available on our website. Prices are per room, per night, including VAT.

Damages

Rooms are checked and maintained in proper condition. Please report any issues upon arrival. Upon departure, please check out via the app or return the key card, if provided. Removing any items from the premises is prohibited and will be charged. You may be held liable for any damage, and we reserve the right to charge for repairs or replacements. Any intentional or unintentional damage may result in a full charge and penalty.

Insurance and Personal Items

Maison Juste is not responsible for any personal belongings left in rooms or common areas. The room and its furniture are insured against fire, water damage, burglary, and glass breakage, but not your personal items. We recommend taking out personal travel insurance covering your luggage and valuables. Personal liability insurance is also advised.

Peace and Quiet

Guests must maintain a respectful level of noise at all times. Music or devices must not disturb others. Legal noise limits (e.g. Article R. 623-2 of the Penal Code) apply. Security cameras monitor the entrance, hallways, basement, and garden. Parties with loud music or unregistered guests are prohibited. Violation will incur a €200 fine and immediate eviction, plus €50 per extra guest.

Children and Minors

Children of all ages are welcome if accompanied by a legal guardian. Baby cots may be provided upon request, subject to availability. No extra beds are available.

Pets

Pets are welcome at Maison Juste. A €5 daily fee applies. Damaged or excessively dirty rooms may incur extra cleaning or repair charges. One dog (max 15 kg) per room is allowed. Dogs must be leashed or in a carrier in common areas and never left unattended in rooms. Staff cannot enter rooms for cleaning if a pet is present. Pet contact details and an emergency contact must be provided. In emergencies, we reserve the right to call a vet if you are unreachable. Vaccination proof may be requested.

No Smoking Policy

Maison Juste is 100% non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted on the terrace. A €200 cleaning fee applies if smoking is detected indoors.

Image Rights

When taking photos, we inform you clearly. If you appear in one and prefer to be removed, just let us know and we will delete the image.

Online Payment

Credit card details are required for booking and payment via our secure third-party payment provider, STRIPE. Your information is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. No payment data is stored on our site. Stripe’s terms: https://stripe.com/fr/privacy

Personal Data

All personal data is handled in accordance with local regulations and the GDPR. We never sell your data. Under French data protection laws and the GDPR, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your data. We collect data during account creation or communication. These include identification data, contact info, billing address, payment info, stay dates, and any comments or inquiries.

Liability

Maison Juste is not liable for death or personal injury unless due to proven negligence. We are not responsible for delays or losses due to events outside our control (e.g. force majeure, natural disasters, wars, strikes, etc.). In such cases, the rental contract may be terminated without compensation. We are not liable for utility outages (water, electricity, internet).

IN CASE OF BREACH OF THESE CONDITIONS, THE HOTEL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO IMMEDIATELY TERMINATE THE STAY WITHOUT COMPENSATION.
